My job experience at Michael Kors and Figleaf Boutique have exposed me to working in retail and have challenged me to utilize my creative-thinking skills that are valuable within the fashion industry, especially within the professional areas of visual merchandising and styling.

Though my work experience has allowed me to focus on styling and visual merchandising, I am still undecided about what professional area I am particularly interested in. I thoroughly enjoy activities related to fashion design, fashion forecasting, and visual merchandising, all of which I have experienced at my internship and through class assignments in my major’s courses. I would love to learn more about buying because that area does interest me but I have not had close-up experience exploring this career. I do know that I want a job that involves creativity, collaboration, and a hands-on approach.
